Human-centered design is necessary to improve the quality of life in Cities.
But a human-centered design can only be developed by those human (being) who hold the needs that must be satisfied.
THE ONLY TRUE EXPERTS OF NEEDS TO SATISFY
ARE OWN THE NEEDS HOLDERS (CustomerCitizen)
There is no need for “research” to understand how to satisfy the needs of Citizens (social needs, needs of the City), but it is necessary to integrate Citizens (and Customer) in the design processes of Solutions (they are People, not numbers).
Tools for the participation of “end users”
To improve the quality of the Public Administration (and Government), no new roles of the Public Administration (“innovation officers”, innovation teams) are needed, but new tools for participated decisions.
