It is not a question of developing Better Processes in tomorrow’s Factories, as the market is making a disruptive change: a revolution in the business paradigm.
<see A phase of radical changes (Key of Changes #1 >
<see The lack of real Iknnovation >
And the disruption in place is not an option, it is not born from someone’s decisions, but because of the necessity “objective” impellent created by the evolving of our Society: new needs of the Customer emerge that can not be taken into consideration, since the Customer can no longer afford to buy products of the current concept (this because of the recession and of some pressing needs that are developing in the society).

.
The production of market participations should be functional to this new market situation, becoming able to become functional to a generation of radically new products.Industry 4.0: the Smart manufacturing
In the new market the radical changes are, among others:
► A DECENTRALIZATION OF THE MARKET, with a diffused “production line”: small factories in the area develop products starting from files provided by the creator of the product, partly assembling parts that come from various suppliers, and partly producing elements with the Makers/FabLab modes.
<see The role of technologies in innovation>
In this new scenario
► the production lines are light, flexible: in a very short time the type of production can be changed (it can be produced “On demand”). It is possible to rent tools for specific processing. Beyond the Integral Architecture: the Modular Architecture
► Customers participate in the product design phase, and therefore the production must be able to produce a taylor-made product.
<see The need of an Ecosystem of Innovation >
Today we think of an “Industry 4.0” dimension that in reality is only a more efficient version of the current production methods, and can not produce a functional value for the new market.
