What the experience of the lockdown linked to Coronavirus 2020 teaches us is the condition of mass hypnosis developed by the Government (with the support of the Media).
It is a form of hypno-governance (hypno-communication) operated thanks to a continuous flow of hypnotic communication developed through the media.

This type of communication (and governance) was brought to the West – as Vance Packard illustrates exhaustively in the book “The hidden persuader” – in the 1950s through studies on the methods used in communist totalitarianisms: based on these studies it was created the “Psychology of the masses” (the science that deals with directing people’s minds, today at the service of political institutions – spinning – and the market – marketing). <see “Handling the masses the Civilization of ideologies: from the community of man to the mass society”>

Bear in mind that one of the scholars was Ron Hubbard, who with the skills acquired with those studies created Scientology (the Dianetics).
Since then the masses have been pushed to “impulse purchases” and has electoral political choices based on emotional strategies (basically based on the creation of important forms of fear, and therefore on the “promise” to alleviate this fear).
Today it is possible to develop mass hypnosis techniques thanks to the possibility of continuously bombarding people’s minds from the morning when they get up to the moment they go to sleep with TV, Radio, Internet, etc.

As far as (hypnotic) political propaganda is concerned, an ad hoc (very dangerous) enemy is invented and therefore a solution is proposed.
The enemies were Fascism (note that, paradoxically, the Left, which directs pisco-politics with the establishment, inspired its current model of Social Democracy to Mussolini’s Fascism, as they explicitly stated in the 1930s FD Roosevelt and Keynes), then Trump and then Covid-19.
Previously the terrible threat came from the Devil: and some Cults worked to “save in hope” the people who trusted them.
Hypnosis and microchip
Today we talk about the possibility of inserting a microchip in people’s bodies.
But in reality hypnosis is a much more powerful tool for controlling people’s attitudes (and their thoughts).
In the new version of the film “The Manchurian Candidate” the protagonist’s mind is guided through a microchip: but in the original version the protagonist was guided (by the Soviets) through hypnosis (it was precisely hypnotized with the methods that today use Market and Politics, which V. Packard revealed to be inspired by those used in the Soviet Union).
Newspeak: the redefinition of Culture
Today, thanks to mass hypnosis, it is possible to spread the “Newspeak” described by Orwell, <see “The rewriting of culture“>.
A significant example is that of applying the NewSpeak is Obama’s intervention in favor of the riots of the spring of 2020. <see Article on New York Times>
In this intervention Obama supports some points based on the misunderstanding in the interpretation of the description of the facts:
1) he uses the term Protester where the people it refers to are rioter (they destroy shops and other properties, and kill other people).
2) compare the current protesters with who made the American Revolution, in this
● ignoring (deliberately) that the Revolutionaries fought against an external enemy, which oppressed the Americans. While the current rioters fight and kill Americans.
● giving sacredness to the “revolution” currently implemented by the far-left.
● contradicting himself, as the American Revolution was a real civil war, not a “protest”.
● saying that he believes that only a “tiny” percentage had acted violently, moves the problem out of the essence of the speech: regardless of the percentage of people who have destroyed, stolen and killed, damage to property and killings by ” protesters “are huge.

In the new dimension of “reformed” culture, the mass of anything can be convinced.
But in order to make this strategy truly effective, it is necessary to instill fear in people (V. Packard describes how such strategies – be they Market or political – must be based on the condition of fear on the part of the listener).
The first major media experiment of this type was that of the Martian Invasion invented by Orson Wells, who terrified the Americans by convincing them that a pure fantasy narrative was instead the chronicle of a real fact.
