For Americans living under coronavirus restrictions, it's a question too rarely asked. In fact it's actively discouraged.

Atlas said that “it’s not a problem” when low risk people get the infection, because “99% of people who get the infection do okay”.

The basic meaning is wonderfully simple — modelling cannot ever capture the ‘truth’, because that is not its purpose. We create models to mathematically codify our predictions, and like all guesses these are prey to our assumptions.

Doctors Dan Erickson & Artin Massihi of Accelerated Urgent Care appeared on FOX News Ingraham Angle with Host Laura Ingraham and advocated for the State of California to immediately resuming social normalcy based on the data and science they have received and observed over the last 2 months. Dr. Erickson specifically mentioned opening restaurants and schools and getting children back in class immediately citing Sweden's example of all children 16 and younger continuing to attend class with no real health issues. The  Wuhan Coronavirus has been shown to not affect children nearly as much as adults.

Michael Ryan, executive director of the WHO’s health emergencies program, saying Wednesday, “I think there’s a perception out that Sweden has not put in place control measures and just has allowed the disease to spread. Nothing can be further from the truth. I think if we are to reach a new normal, I think it many way Sweden represents a future model of, if we wish to get back to a society in which we don’t have lockdowns.”

The millions of casualties of a continued shutdown will be hiding in plain sight, but they will be called alcoholism, homelessness, suicide, heart attack, stroke, or kidney failure. In youths it will be called financial instability, unemployment, despair, drug addiction, unplanned pregnancies, poverty, and abuse..

Doctors at a California hospital are reporting more deaths by suicide than coronavirus during the stay-at-home orders, and one doctor is calling the influx of suicide deaths “unprecedented,” according to ABC 7.

While the Coronavirus has taken thousands of lives, doctors are now warning that if this lockdown continues we could be facing thousands more thanks to depression and hopelessness.

CBS News reported that a new study showed deaths can range well into 75,000 from things like suicide or drug and alcohol abuse:

Lindsey Graham, a salon owner in Salem, Oregon, detailed how state authorities dispatched child protective services (CPS) to her home as part of their response to her ongoing business operations in defiance of Gov. Kate Brown’s (D-OR) statewide “stay-at-home” order.

The same CPS agent returned to Graham’s home the following Monday, and he separated Graham and her husband from their six-year-old son in order to privately interview the child. Graham is also the mother of a three-year-old girl and an eight-week-old son.
