● In 2016 with the title “Medical error – the third leading cause of death in the US” the B.M.J. (British Medical Journal) a study by oncologists Martin Makary and Michael Daniel (Department of Surgery at Johns Hopkins University) shows that medical errors kill more than 250,000 people a year in hospital (out of 2.6 million deaths – i.e. 10% of deaths due to illness are caused by human errors or by drugs). see Article
